With the help of our state-of-the-art milling technology here at Minnillo & Marshall Dental, we can create your new crown on the same day as your visit, and send you home with a healthy new smile! We know that damaged teeth can make simple daily activities such as chewing and talking quite uncomfortable. Decayed teeth can also be a concern, as they often cause irritation and sensitivity, which can lead to increased discomfort. If your tooth’s roots and interior are healthy, the tooth is likely worth saving. An upgraded exterior known as a dental crown or bridge makes damaged teeth stronger, restoring its function. Dr. John Marshall regularly provides custom, premium quality, same-day dental crowns in Elyria, OH and Grafton, OH.

Dr. Marshall is skilled in CEREC-assisted restorative treatments, giving patients long-lasting results for a healthy smile, and in just one visit! Your new CEREC restoration will be crafted from ceramic or porcelain materials and restored perfectly to blend with your existing teeth, all while remaining strong enough to withstand daily wear. Not only do we offer our customized CEREC crowns, we also offer dental bridges to restore your smile after an extraction or in the case of a missing tooth.

Restore Your Smile with Same Day CEREC Crowns®

What Are CEREC Crowns?

Dental crowns are caps that cover and protect damaged individual teeth to restore a tooth’s appearance with improved durability. CEREC crowns are created by utilizing our advanced dental technology to create a crown that perfectly fits over your damaged tooth. This CEREC crown bonds to your tooth and mimics the size, shape and color of your natural tooth for a flawless finish. Other than being able to correct those pesky esthetic or functional concerns you may have, CEREC crowns are completely customized to your tooth to look and feel like real teeth.

What Are Dental Bridges?

Consisting of one or more artificial teeth that are made from resin or porcelain, dental bridges provide tooth replacement by “bridging” the gap left behind by missing teeth. The crown may cover one or more teeth to properly secure the bridge and hold the artificial teeth in place. If you have one or more missing teeth, a dental bridge can fill the gap with one or more artificial teeth. If you don’t have natural teeth on either side of the gap to support a bridge, Dr. Marshall may recommend implanting teeth on either side to hold the bridge in place.

Do I Need a Crown or Dental Bridge?

While both of our customized options restore your smile and create healthy, long-lasting results, Dr. Marshall may recommend one over the other when customizing your dental procedure. If you are in need of a CEREC crown for unhealthy, damaged teeth, Dr. Marshall will create a treatment plan that includes designing a CEREC crown that is perfectly cut to your tooth’s size, shape and color to fit over your damaged tooth and mimic your teeth for a seamless smile. If you are missing one or more teeth, Dr. Marshall may decide that a dental bridge is the best option for you, creating a treatment plan that fits the needs of your missing teeth, while bridging the gap that’s left behind. Our dental bridges will anchor to natural teeth that will be covered by one or more crowns in a row, ultimately restoring your smile!

Am I a Candidate?

Dental crowns are fixed covers that lay over an existing tooth to return a damaged tooth to its original strength and appearance. We generally recommend crowns when a tooth is too damaged to be treated with a standard filling. Similarly, dental crowns are placed to preserve a tooth after a root canal, or to restore esthetics after implant surgery. Other reasons to consider a CEREC same-day crown Include:
